I am Holly, a licensed Makaton Tutor living in Crieff, Scotland. Makaton changed our family. It created a way for everyone to be understood, in the absence of speech.
I offer workshops in person across Scotland, and online. For parents, carers, professionals, educators, early years settings, and dental teams.

The Core Vocabulary pathway. Start at Level 1 and work up. Each level builds on the one before.

Ninety minutes to two hours, in person. A Makaton taster before you commit to Level 1.

£90 per personWhat is Makaton?
Makaton is a communication programme that uses speech, signs, and symbols. Signs are used alongside speech, in spoken word order, so a person hears the word and sees it at the same time. This helps to convey meaning and communicate a clear message. Makaton symbols provide a pictographic image or concept for communication and are for anyone who cannot, or would rather use symbols instead of or alongside signs.
