Booking and delegate terms

Please read these before booking. Booking a workshop means you accept them.

All workshops

  • Workshop pricing is fixed as advertised and is not open to further negotiation.
  • MakaLife training sessions require a minimum number of participants to proceed. Viability is reviewed fourteen days prior to the start date.
  • Bookings are non-refundable. Please confirm your availability before registering. If you are unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to a future session.
  • Should a registered delegate be unable to participate, a substitute may attend in their stead. No partial refunds are provided for absences.
  • In the event that MakaLife cancels a course, you may choose a full refund or a transfer. Transfers must be used within one year of the original date.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued due to technical difficulties experienced by the delegate.
  • All participants must be at least sixteen years of age.
  • Full attendance across all scheduled sessions is required to qualify for certification.
  • To reassign a booking, please provide the new delegate's contact details by email at least twenty-four hours before the workshop begins.
  • Workshops run on a strict timetable. Persistent lateness or lack of engagement disrupts the learning environment and may result in removal without a refund.

Online workshops

  • Individual devices are required for every participant. Sharing a single computer or laptop is not permitted.
  • Delegates are responsible for ensuring their setup meets the requirements, including a stable connection, a camera, and working audio.
  • Computers or laptops are strongly preferred over mobile devices.
  • Participants must not be driving while attending any online session.
  • Please be in a quiet, private space free from distractions.
  • Please log in several minutes early to check that your technology is working before the start time.
  • Have your workshop manual and any provided resources ready to use throughout the session.
  • During the training, position your camera so that your head, torso, and hands stay clearly visible to the group. Wear dark colours where possible so your hands are clearly visible.

Organisations

  • Invoices for workshop bookings must be settled in full within thirty days of the issue date.
